In the background the southern Turkish coast.Kastellorizo is one of the most beautiful Greek islands. It is also one of the smallest and it's definitely the most remote. Kastellorizo was the shooting location for the Italian film "Mediterraneo" that won the Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Foreign Language Film in 1991.
