A U.S. Army M107, 175mm, long-range self-propelled gun sits at the northwest intersection of U.S. 95 and Imperial Dam Road, as part of an iconic, two-gun display for U.S. Army Yuma Proving Ground. The M107 replaces the more familiar M65, 280mm motorized heavy gun, also known as the "Atomic Cannon," which sat for years on the same site. The M65 was removed in July to be refurbished to its original likeness.
