Informations supplémentaires:
Taken on 20 Aug 2023, this photograph shows Borough of Buxton cast iron embossed grid, made by John Needham & sons ltd, Stockport, High Peak, Derbyshire, England, SK17 6XN. The location is Water Street, Buxton, High Peak, Derbyshire, England, SK17 6XN. The picture is not just a record shot: it contains close-up metalwork, embossed lettering, patina, rust and wear that document everyday civic infrastructure. The cast-iron Buxton grid records the municipal detail of a spa town built around water, streets, drainage and nineteenth-century civic improvement. It can be used in editorial features, business reports, local-history writing, travel guides, public-policy explainers, educational material and SEO-led stock-photo searches needing a specific real-world image. For image buyers, the value is in the combination of recognisable subject, readable wording, location evidence and a plain documentary style that can be dropped into news, magazine, web, council, housing, transport, heritage or commercial commentary without looking over-produced. Searchable related phrases include Borough, Borough of Buxton, town, Buxton, John Needham, embossed, cast iron, old, blocked, historic, centre, High Peak, plus wider ideas such as local identity, public realm, urban detail, social history, commercial change, everyday Britain, documentary photography and place-based storytelling. The composition gives designers scope for captions, page furniture, social media crops, report covers and article thumbnails, while the detailed captioning makes it more discoverable for searches using both specific place names and broader themes. The photograph should appeal to buyers looking for a grounded visual that says more than a studio icon, because it ties the subject to a real street, building, object or public setting.
