Derrière ces doux géants. Le Royaume des Tonga, Australie: DE BELLES images montrent un franc-plongeur en parfaite harmonie tout en nageant à côté d'un
Following behind these gentle giants. The Kingdom of Tonga, Australia: BEAUTIFUL images show a freediver in perfect harmony while swimming alongside a humpback mother and calf. When a whale calf is born, for the first year of its life, the mother must bring it to the surface every two and half minutes for air. Humpback whales will grow to a length of 56 feet and can weigh up to 40 metric tons. These images were captured by photographer and owner of Freediving Central Daniel Parsons (35) in the Kingdom of Tonga, Australia using a Sony EM5 Mark II camera. ?The picture of the Mother and calf was really beautiful as the calf was about one to two days old judging by its size, it was full of life playing and trying its best to breach, ? said Dan. ?It was almost a little emotional. To get this shot takes time, patience and skill to hold a pose like that. ?Imagine being kilometres out to sea big waves and strong wind swimming towards these gentle giants, your heart racing a million miles per hour and then the time comes that you have to take a breath and swim deep. ?I love that they are the type of photo that you can?t believe these shots are real. ?The amazing thing is these animals are so aware of their surroundings that they will say out of your way. ?The closest we have been would be around two-feet. But to be honest I think the best view is thirty to sixty feet When you can see their whole body and sheer size its something that will stay with you forever.?
