Disabled passenger with walking aid inside a Blackpool tram. A passenger with a walking aid is seated inside a Blackpool tram as a uniformed staff member stands nearby. Yellow grab rails, blue passenger seats and a wide central aisle provide the setting for the mobility-related scene. The interior of a yellow and cream tram contains blue patterned seats, bright yellow vertical poles and several passengers. A person using a walking aid sits on the right as a uniformed staff member stands further along the aisle. The view documents public transport use by a passenger with limited mobility in a practical, everyday setting. The grab rails and aisle arrangement are visible details useful for discussions about boarding, passenger movement and assistance on tram services. It can accompany editorial coverage of accessible transport, mobility aids and disabled travellers' experiences on Blackpool trams. The seated passenger has a mobility aid positioned in front, with its handles and wheels visible in the tram aisle. A uniformed worker stands nearby beside bright yellow vertical handrails and passenger doors. The arrangement documents accessible travel in the context of a real journey on Blackpool's public tram system. Blue patterned seats, overhead strips and the open gangway show the interior layout available to passengers. The view is relevant to disabled travellers' experiences, accessible vehicle design, priority seating, assistance from staff and the everyday practicalities of using public transport with reduced mobility. The seated traveller is positioned facing into the carriage, with a walking frame directly in the central space. A member of staff wears a bright-coloured high-visibility garment farther down the aisle. Grab rails and seats provide the physical infrastructure within which a person with limited mobility makes a tram journey. The mobility aid has a visible frame and wheels, situated beside the seated passenger and the yellow grab pole.
