A temporary “Filming Ahead” road sign positioned on Lime Street in Liverpool city centre, England, photographed during active location filming in May 2024. The sign warns pedestrians and motorists of filming activity ahead and is placed near the Empire Theatre, a prominent landmark on one of the city’s busiest streets. The image was taken during production of Fountain of Youth, an Apple Original Films project directed by Guy Ritchie and produced for Apple TV+. Liverpool has become a frequent filming location for major international film and television productions, with Lime Street often used due to its grand architecture, transport links, and proximity to theatres and civic buildings. Temporary signage such as this forms part of standard film-set safety and traffic management procedures, helping to manage public movement and minimise disruption in busy urban environments. The surrounding streetscape reflects everyday city life continuing alongside large-scale film production. This image is suitable for editorial use illustrating film and television production in public spaces, Apple TV+ projects, behind-the-scenes filmmaking, urban disruption caused by location shoots, Liverpool as a filming destination, and the intersection of city life and the entertainment industry.
