Cw 6610 High Street Amble Cw 6610 High Street Amble Amble is a small town on the north east coast of Northumberland in North East England. It was a former mining and fishing town, with most of the signs of the mining having disappeared though there is still a small fishing fleet that works out of the harbour. This is the high street in the town, which is at the top of the hill, it isn’t the main shopping street now, which is Queen Street, a bit further down the hill. This is the junction with Albert Street, and where the white van is the road curves round and down the hill towards Warkworth. The town of Amble has been undergoing a renaissance in recent years and is now considered a trendy and fashionable place to live, being recently named by the Sunday Times Newspaper as one of the places to live in 2019. 15.1.19 Image Cw 6610 copyright Colin Wareing of Colin and Carole’s Creations www.colinandcarolescreations.co.uk E-mail colinandcarolescreations@yahoo.co.uk Phone no 07931 356204
