Cors Erddreiniog is the largest of Anglesey’s fens. Its great importance is reflected in the suite of designations to which it is subject, which include National Nature Reserve (NNR), Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI), Special Area of Conservation (SAC) and Ramsar (ascribed to wetlands of international importance). In herbal medicine, red clover is typically used to treat respiratory issues (such as asthma, whooping cough, and bronchitis), skin disorders (such as eczema and psoriasis), inflammatory conditions like arthritis, and women's health problems1 (such as menopausal and menstrual symptoms).
