At the end of the wooded Jakopič Promenade (formerly the Lantieri Promenade), the continuation of Cankar Street, is the Tivoli Castle mansion, inside the Tivoli Park in Ljubljana, Slovenia's capital. It's northwest of the city centre and visible from it, at the foot of Rožnik Hill. Before the castle, there is a Baroque fountain surrounded by some grass areas and a piece of artwork. The green and forested Tivoli Park is a favorite and a must visit place for visitors and locals in the city of Ljubljana, where one can relax in its grass or take a pleasant walk through its woods, tree-lined paths, natural trails and open areas. It is the largest park in the city and has a greenhouse, a rose garden, a pond, several notable buildings and artworks scattered through it. Since 1984 it has been protected as part of a Nature Park, and it is home to a variety of bird species.
