Paul's favourite picture of Blackchurch Rock. UK: THESE STUNNING images of a lone traveller crossing incredible landscapes prove how the UK is one of the world?s most beautiful places. One image shows the traveller standing in an arch of decaying tree branches, staring out into a beautiful pink sunset. Another Image, entitled ?Black Church Rock? shows Paul in the heart of a large rock, formed from slabs of rock all leaning into one formation. These images were taken by professional photographer Paul Dixon in Dover, using a Sony A7R3 and Sony A7R2 camera. ?I take inspiration from films, I love the magical world of cinema, the stories that are told and the worlds that are created, ? said Paul. ?I try to make my images look very cinematic and aesthetic, whilst still capturing scenes and landscapes that are meaningful to me. ?The UK is full of amazing landscapes and historic locations. During the pandemic, when travel abroad was limited, I found so many amazing locations to visit and put my ?stamp? on through photography. ?I've always felt I needed to explore this country before any other. It?s just an incredibly beautiful country to travel around, and all within a day of driving too. ?One of my favourite things to do is capture landscapes that many people have never seen or even heard of, I always ask myself how would I capture landscapes or landmarks in a way that?s new and original? ?With social media sites being full with so many talented artists, some locations are very heavily photographed, so my approach is to take photos in a way that?s not been seen before. ?One of my favourite images in one of Black Church Rock in north Devon. I had been planning to visit this location for a long time, after seeing some amazing work by other photographers? on Instagram. ?I spent a while thinking about how I could capture this location differently from anything I?d seen so far.
