The Great Marathon of Alba and the Langhe, with always very positive editions and a great organizational effort (marathon 42 Km + half marathon 21 Km + march + hospitality of respect) has now been consolidated at national level and with increasing presences from abroad. Its project is to be an important sporting event accompanied by the enhancement of wine and truffles and of all the territorial, tourist, food and wine, naturalistic and ecological, of the four municipalities of Barbaresco that are Alba, Barbaresco, Neive and Treiso, involving more and more local realities. The routes are spectacular and cross the Tanaro river park, the hills of Barbaresco and its wonderful Panoramic Tower, the ancient village of Neive and the rocks of the Seven Brothers of Treiso. All departures and arrivals take place in the heart of the city of Alba at the foot of the ancient Cathedral.
