Satoru Takaba speaks about his wife, Namiko, who was murdered 26 years ago during an interview in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on November 2, 2025. The incident in which Namiko Takaba (then 32 years old) was killed happened at an apartment in 1999. Satoru has rented the apartment for 26 years to preserve the scene where his wife was murdered. A 69-year-old woman was arrested and admitted to stabbing her with a knife, causing her to bleed to death. The suspect is a classmate of the murdered woman's husband, Satoru.
