Volkswagen Beetle PENNSLYVANIA CE MYSTÉRIEUX cimetière est rempli de plus DE DEUX CENTS voitures Volkswagen vieilles de plus d'un demi-siècle, dont l'emblématique
Volkswagen Beetle PENNSLYVANIA THIS MYSTERIOUS graveyard is filled with over TWO HUNDRED Volkswagen cars over half a century old, including the iconic Beetle. According to the urban explorer who was shocked to find this incredible collection in the hills of rural Pennsylvania, the owner of this now abandoned car warehouse established their business in 1974. Clearly, in love with the German make of cars, he collected dozens and stored them on this now forested site. Most of the cars are VW Beetles and VW Campervans, which appear to be missing parts. Along with those, there are piles of doors neatly arranged in rows leaning against trees that have been organised by the model. These exciting images were captured by a 32-year-old UrBex explorer, Christopher Collins, who has been documenting abandoned sites like these since 2012. ?I was looking on Google Maps and noticed a huge field just full of abandoned cars. So I decided to check it out, ? he said. ?There were about 200 cars in this lot, and as per the locals, the owner of this property passed away in the early 1990?s. ?No one really knows whether the intention behind this lot was to repair and resell the cars or sell their scraps. ?Nevertheless, I was pleasantly shocked and excited to see this property. It was like nothing I?ve ever come across before. ?I love to explore these abandoned places because you?ll never know what you?ll find. You get to document some of the most amazing things that are left behind and get to share it with the world.? ENDS
